3rd Gainsborough (Whiteswood)

At 3rd Gainsborough (Whiteswood) Scout Group, we’re all about fun, friendship, and adventure! We offer young people the opportunity to develop skills for life through exciting activities, teamwork, and community involvement. Whether it’s learning how to build a shelter, trying out new sports, or making lifelong friends, there’s something for everyone.

Beavers (Ages 6–8)

Our Beavers section is where the adventure begins! Beavers enjoy a wide range of activities that help them explore the world around them, from nature walks and crafts to games and storytelling. It’s all about building confidence, making friends, and having fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Cubs (Ages 8–10½)

Cubs take the next step in their Scouting journey with even more exciting challenges. From camping and hiking to learning new skills and earning badges, Cubs develop independence, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility, all while having a blast!

Scouts (Ages 10½–14)

Scouts take adventure to the next level with even more opportunities to challenge themselves and grow. Whether it’s mastering survival skills, taking part in community projects, or going on exciting camps and expeditions, Scouts build resilience, leadership, and confidence. It’s all about discovering what they’re capable of, and having a great time doing it!
